Wesley snipes trent born July 31, 1962 is an American actor, film producer, and martial artist, who has starred in numerous films, thrillers, and dramatic feature films. Snipes is known for playing the marvel comics character blade in the blade film trilogy. Snipes has been training in martial artist since age 12.
As of 2010 snipes is serving a prison sentence for misdemeanor failure to file U.S. federal income tax returns.
After school, snipes persevered, finding acting work in regional Orlando production and dinner theater. He also co-founded a street theater group called “struttin stuff”.
Eventually, he made his way back to new York as a student at SUNY purchase, where he graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree in 1985.
Snipes has established relationship with several women, including sana lathan, halle berry and jenifer lovez. He had been married twice, first to april snipes, he had a son, jelani asar snipes, born in 1988. In 2003, snipes married painter nakyung “nikky” park, he had four children.
Snipes, who was raised a Christian, converted to islam in 1978 but left islam in 1988.
